FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.​
  • Do I have to sign a contract?
    There aren't any complicated contracts.  We do require a signature on our Cleaning Agreement which list all the tasks to be performed by our associate(s), the frequency of our service, the rate and our seven (7) day courtesy cancellation policy.  
  • Do I have to do anything before the cleaning associate(s) arrives?
          In order for the associate(s) to do their job efficiently, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, and other    
          household items.  
  • How should I prepare for my  routine scheduled cleaning? 
          Please store irreplaceable items or point them out to us. Please store jewelry and prescription          
          medicine. Also, the tidier your home is the more thoroughly we can focus on cleaning! 
Please alert us    
          to any repairs or remodeling done in your home during our cleaning time. We unfortunately can't leave
          your home unlocked.
  • How many people will be cleaning my home?
    We typically work in teams of two (2) or more associates depending on the size of home, type of cleaning needed and frequency. 
  • Do I have to be home when they are cleaning? 
    Most of our clients are not home when we come to clean.  We will make arrangements according to your comfort level on how to gain access to your home.  Typically, we are provided with a duplicate key by our clients which are stored and  kept in a safety box. 
  • Do you provide the cleaning supplies and equipment or do I?
          Kikay's Cleaning Services LLC will provide all the cleaning supplies and equipment unless you prefer  
          for us to use your
 own supplies and equipment. 
  • Do you send the same team every time my home is cleaned?
    You will almost always have the same cleaning associate(s) each time we clean your home.  Rest assured that all the cleaning associate(s) are trained and provide the same consistent service.
  • How long will it take for your cleaning associate(s) to clean my home?
    Each home is unique due to the size and attention that it needs.  Our associate(s) are fast, efficient and thorough and can typically get the routine cleaning done between 2-6 hours.  Move Out/Move In Cleaning & Deep Cleaning typically takes longer due to the extra tasks.
  • What if I forget it is my cleaning day?
    As a courtesy we send out a reminder via text or email the day before the scheduled cleaning.  If you still forgot and we were locked out a $70 fee will be automatically billed to the credit card on file or invoiced for lock out fee/late rescheduling.
  • Is it okay to leave a note for the cleaning associate(s)?
    We encourage our clients to notify us prior to scheduled cleaning if there are some things that are needing extra attention in their home.  If you have other concerns regarding our service or simply want to let us know that we're doing an awesome job feel free to leave us a note.
  • What if I need to reschedule my scheduled cleaning day/date?
    Simply email us at kikayscleaningservices@gmail.com or call/text us at (503) 841-3362 so we may reschedule your clean day/date.
  • Do you have a liability insurance?
           Kikay's Cleaning Services LLC is licensed, insured and bonded for your added peace of mind.
  • Do you run a background check of your cleaning associate(s)?
    Prior to hiring an associate, we run a background check and verify at least three (3) references and previous work history.
  • Will my rate ever change? 
    Depending on the circumstances, we may periodically implement a COLA (Cost Of Living Allowance) price increase to keep up with inflation and to keep our benefits and wages competitive, thereby assuring you of the very best service by trained and qualified people.
  • What type of payments do you accept?
    We prefer CASH or CHECK (payable to Kikay's Cleaning Services, LLC) to be placed in a sealed envelope and paid at the time of service. We also accept Visa/Mastercard, American Express and Discover Credit Card with an additional 3-4% processing fee.  We also accept Auto Pay through your bank/institution.  There is an extra $45 fee for any returned check.
  • Do I need to leave a gratuity/tip for the cleaning associate(s)?
    Gratuity/tip is always the best compliment to our hard working associate(s) and is always much appreciated but it's certainly not mandatory.
